First, the consulting team successfully designed and implemented Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Essbase system, utilizing a Web Analysis dashboard to deliver the solution to the company. The team developed the foundation of a purpose-built data warehouse that would allow drilldown analysis and that is scalable to meet the future analysis needs of the company. HFM would pull data from PeopleSoft for the full trial balance, and then translate, eliminate, and consolidate the data. The data would also be fed from PeopleSoft into a staging table built in Oracle. Essbase would then dynamically create cubes from those tables for detailed sales and inventory data only.
