When supporting the application, you need to know where you can find the messages that tell you how your application is performing. The error messages appear in a couple of places. The main places are
The HsvEventLog.Log file under the HFM application server’s \Hyperion\logs\hfm folder
The HFM_ErrorLog table within the relational store (Oracle HFM schema)
Windows application events
Audit and task logs
