When you’re loading data, it is common to not be able to pull all of your information from the ledger system. Or, you may not want to build a big integration for something like a couple of accounts, or some light supplemental data. You may be fine with just keying in the data. The most import thing to do when preparing to do this is to always remember: Don’t touch ledger data that you have loaded. You can do this in one of a couple ways. You need to add a section called Supplemental, and make that a group of accounts that you will be loading. You never want to load data directly into the accounts that are fed from the ledger.
