Financial Close Manager
Financial Close Manager (FCM) enables you to define, execute, and report on the interdependent activities of a financial close period. It also provides monitoring of the entire close process and provides a visible, automated, repeatable system of record for running close processes. This is truly a unique product since this is the first tool that can do this for the entire close process starting before the ledger even closes. This is important to HFM because of how important HFM is to the close process. At many companies HFM is, in fact, the book of record. A tool that manages the close of those books is of critical importance. Figure 4-11 shows the main calendar view.
