If you haven’t picked up yet on a couple of these rules, one of the key points is that HFM can’t create data. The data coming in has to be at the right detail, and clean—or you will have problems. One of the strengths of HFM is its ability to translate. It is a mistake not to load functional currency into HFM. The functional currency is required for many external reports, and not including it prevents you from having one source for the data.
