Conclusion

This chapter introduced the Application Development Framework (ADF) and its architecture and described the administration and configuration aspects of an application built on this framework. The chapter also illustrated how the Metadata Services are used by customizable ADF applications and then proceeded to discuss how an administrator can migrate these customizations in the application’s target MDS repository from one instance of an application to another. Finally, we extended our use case discussion to the deployment of the Pricing WorkList ADF application. In the next chapter we will explore Oracle WebCenter, a product that uses the Application Development Framework as a foundation for enabling advanced user interaction capabilities. ...
