In this recipe, we will use the
@MDALLOCATE function to allocate data from upper-level members of our Product and Market dimension to the lower-levels across both dimensions. We will then go over the
@MDALLOCATE functions parameters as used in our recipe. In this recipe, we will be using the
Sample.Basic database as
@MDALLOCATE is a BSO command.
To get started, click on the Start menu and navigate to Program | Oracle EPM System | Essbase | Essbase Administration Services | Start Administration Services Console. In the Log in menu, enter your Administration Server, Username, Password, and click on the Log in button.
