About the Authors
Michael New is a former Technical Manager for Oracle Consulting. He founded New DBA Solutions (www.ndbas.com) in 2008, a technology services company offering remote and onsite Oracle Applications DBA and core Oracle DBA consulting and training. He is a senior information systems architect and Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) with 24 years of experience in the software industry. After receiving his B.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he began his IT career as a software engineer, and for the past 17 years, has been an Oracle Applications DBA.
