In order to give something, you first have to get something, and the same goes for Enterprise Manager. To get to the level of enterprise management, you must first have an enterprise full of machines to monitor and manage.
In some cases you will find machines to be added, sometimes in the weirdest and most unusual places. In other cases, you will find a new machine suddenly appearing in the Console, discovered by another administrator.
But it all starts with the rollout of the Agents, the piece of software that will do the monitoring and the maintenance of the targets in the enterprise.
