APPENDIX CLog Files

This appendix gives an overview of the various log and trace files of the Grid Control environment.

Agent

The directory <EMHOME> is the state directory the Agent will use to store the runtime information in.

This directory can be retrieved in two ways:

Either by issuing this command:

$ emctl getemhome

Or by getting this property from the emd.properties file:

agentStateDir=<runtime state directory>

Agent Log and Trace Files

The agent log and trace files are stored in the <EMHOME>/sysman/log directory.
