Oracle Application Tier with Oracle E-Business Suite
Within Ebus11i Corporation, we have two types of Oracle E-Business suite mid tiers:
Internet application tier This tier has already been discussed in the previous section. It is used for outbound Internet connections. The service name is ebus11i.ebus11i.com.
Intranet application tier This tier is used for internal users and administrators to access Oracle E-Business Suite. The server will not be accessed by anyone outside the local network. The service name is www.ebus11i.com.
