Summary
In this chapter we have looked at the monitoring and administrative requirements in reference to the security elements of Oracle E-Business Suite.
Monitoring the security alerts that software and hardware vendors deploy on a regular basis is critical to make sure the most up-to-date vulnerabilities have been counted. Additional monitoring of the Oracle E-Business Suite environment from auditing to access control is also critical to a successful implementation.
Defining a clear administration policy and working procedure guidelines means everyone involved should know what is required and when. Not defining the correct policy or working procedures will open up issues.
