CHAPTER 6 Administration and Monitoring
So far we have discussed how to configure the Oracle E-Business Suite, how to deploy components in different scenarios, and what to do to harden the deployment. What we need to discuss now is the administration and monitoring of the production environment. This is one area that can be overlooked and may be the weakness in the application lifecycle.
Administration can be broken down into a number of components and has a direct link to the monitoring that is required. Each of the following areas will be discussed in more detail within this chapter:
