Oracle E-Business Suite Application-Tier Security

The Oracle E-Business Suite application tier (sometimes referenced as the mid tier) contains the following components:

Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) Also referred to as Apache Web Server and is the primary web server, servicing requests that have been received.

JServ The Servlet 1.1 engine that Oracle E-Business Suite uses for all Oracle Application Development Framework components. This is a “self-service” user interface that is a non-applet-based component of Oracle E-Business Suite.
