Oracle Purchasing is the procurement and supply management solution. It has functionality to serve the requisitioner who needs a pencil as well as the procurement manager who is sourcing a component supplier through Request for Quotes (RFQs) and negotiating long-term agreements. The procurement system is also fed from the planning systems that request material for production. It is tightly integrated with Oracle Workflow, routing requisitions and purchase orders up an approval chain.
