Starting with Release 11, Oracle has offered Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) as an alternative to the single-organization planning discussed in Chapter 10. As its name suggests, ASCP plans across your supply chain and can incorporate customer preferences and supplier capacity. Some of these capabilities are also present in the earlier Supply Chain Planning (SCP) product, available since Release 10.7.
