Import
Import (imp) is an Oracle-supplied utility that reads the proprietary format file created by Export and can restore some or all of the database objects contained in the file to an Oracle database. This section provides the detailed syntax for the Import utility; see Chapter 9, for a discussion of Import’s capabilities.
