Command-Line Syntax
Export may be invoked from a host system command line or batch script using the following syntax:
exp [username[/password]][@hostname] [parameters]
- username
The Oracle username for the account to run Export.
- password
The password for the username. If the password is omitted, SQL*Plus will prompt for the password.
- hostname
The hostname assigned to the database being connected to, as contained in the tnsnames.ora file or Oracle Names.
- parameters
A list of Export parameters separated by commas or spaces.
