Export

Export (exp) is an Oracle-supplied utility that copies the contents of the database to a proprietary-format file that may be used by Oracle’s Import utility to restore some or all of the database objects contained in the file. This section provides the detailed syntax for the Export utility; see Chapter 4, for an introduction to the use of Export in performing backups.
