Summary of Initialization Parameters
The following initialization parameters are documented by Oracle, and are presented here in alphabetical order. Both Oracle7 and Oracle8 parameters are listed—those that are specific to a single version are noted. We’ve provided brief descriptions of all parameters, along with allowable values and defaults; for complete details, see the appropriate Oracle Server Reference Manual for your release of Oracle.
Tip
Note that the parameter names are presented here in uppercase for readability, but parameters may appear in upper-, lower-, or mixed case when they appear in the actual INIT.ORA parameter file.
