RMAN Restore and Recovery
We have talked about backing up your database. Now, it’s time to talk about how we are going to restore and recover your database from those backups. First, unless there is a specific reason not to do so, we will treat nonmultitenant databases and the entirety of a multitenant database CDB pretty much the same. In most respects, the operations you do on one are the same as on the other. We, of course, cover all aspects of PDB restore and recovery in this chapter as well.
