Creating Java Stored Procedures: Advanced Topics

In the previous section, we discussed the basic steps to set up Java Stored Procedures in the Oracle database. This section extends the discussion by adding disk I/O operations in the Java Stored Procedures. This allows running more comprehensive XSL transformations.

First, we know that an XSL stylesheet can include (<xsl:include>) and import (<xsl:import>) other XSL stylesheets. To enable this in Java Stored Procedures, we need to implement the document URL resolving process. With this process, we can then retrieve the included/imported XSL stylesheets.
