XML Path Language (XPath) is used within SQL/XML, XSLT, and XQuery as the basis for accessing XML content and performing operations. W3C XPath standard (http://www.w3.org/TR/xpath) has two versions: XPath 1.0 and XPath 2.0. Both are supported in Oracle XML DB 11g.
