CHAPTER 7Configuring EMC NetWorker Module for Oracle
EMC NetWorker Module for Oracle (NMO), formerly Legato NetWorker Module for Oracle, and EMC NetWorker server combine to provide efficient and reliable backup and recovery solutions for the Oracle database and its components. NMO acts as an intermediary between the primary NetWorker server and RMAN. All backups and restores of the Oracle database are initiated by RMAN. In fact, once NMO is set up, little to no interaction is required. The primary mode of operations will be to use RMAN.
