When Do I Need a Combined Analysis?

Determining that you need a combined analysis to accomplish your reporting goal can be almost as tricky as designing the combined report. Sometimes it is obvious that a combined analysis is the only way to achieve the report results you are looking for, as in the example noted earlier. Other times, you may only realize that a combined analysis is needed when someone else notices that a particular record is missing from your report.
