Deployment is a fancy word for packaging and moving your code from your development environment to your server. Since Java and J2EE applications can become rather complex, the deployment of applications has become its own subject. Thankfully, Oracle JDeveloper greatly simplifies the deployment of applications by checking the files in your application for syntactical correctness and by assuring the necessary files are deployed to the correct locations on your server.
