Summary
The designers of OracleAS Portal have given developers and administrators enough flexibility to incorporate non-Portal items into OracleAS Portal sites relatively easily. There is native support for Oracle Reports and Oracle Discoverer Worksheets, and even without native support for Oracle Forms, there are still methods for incorporating these Oracle Forms into OracleAS Portal. Integrating these existing components gives developers and administrators the benefit of not having to duplicate any existing development work, while gaining all of the benefits that OracleAS Portal provides.
