Object Privileges

Up until this point, we’ve been discussing system privileges—OracleAS Portal privileges like creating or editing pages or modifying users. The other set of privileges incorporated in OracleAS Portal involves object privileges, the ability to view a portlet or modify an existing item. The key to understanding object privileges is understanding the concepts of hierarchies and inheritance.
