If you’ve worked with databases, you know that, as a user, you need certain privileges granted to you before you can do anything inside of the database. You may have system privileges granted to you that allow you to create a table or index or drop a sequence. You may also have object privileges granted to you that allow you to select or delete data from a specific table.
