Implementing a Navigation Standard
You have created lists, forms, and other region types. It is about time to provide users a decent way to access these pages. In this chapter, you will start with creating an icon for your mobile device to access the application. Next, you will build a springboard menu to offer initial navigation in the application. After that, you will define quick-link icons at the bottom of the screen. And last but not least, you will build a Facebook-style slide menu.
Let’s start by defining an icon on the home screen of the device and showing a splash screen.
