Displaying Calendars and Charts
Until now, you learned how to handle the most common region types and items: lists, forms, and buttons. But wait, there is more! The region types that you might be familiar with on your desktop, like calendars and charts, do have a mobile version. In this chapter, we will learn how to create these types of regions and examine the differences between the desktop and the mobile versions. We will also look at other charting engines to extend the graphical possibilities of APEX. Finally, we will create a RESTful web service and use it as a data provider for one of our charts.
