Summary

The chapter started by providing a full architectural overview of the OAC. It explained the different layers that build up the product architecture and how these relate to one another. It further described the OAC user interface, the roles supported by the product and concepts such as organizational roles, application roles, and departments.

The chapter continued by detailing a realistic use case based on WBCV's API Management implementation journey. It explained the challenges faced by WBCV, such as lack of API visibility which led to little or no service reuse, and described how OAC was implemented in order to resolve these issues.
