Oracle Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA)
The Oracle Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA) can be run through the OUI, thereby allowing you to create a database at the same time you are installing the binaries.
In Chapter 3, “Creating a Database,” we will discuss DBCA at length, but in connection with the OUI, understand that DBCA can be called, depending on how you choose to run the install. For example, you can choose to create your initial database after the binaries have been installed.
