The Project Management Pillar of a Mature Organization

Chapter 9 is focused on the Project Management Pillar of the Information Technology (IT) Pillars Model (IPM) for the IT assessment and optimization work related to Case Study 1—the case study on Uppland Industries.

As noted in Chapter 7, Part Two walks through the full IT assessment and optimization steps outlined over Chapters 1 to 6 for a large and mature company with a host of legacy IT systems. As a reminder from earlier chapters, Figure 9.1 highlights the steps involved in optimizing and assessing IT.
