Cisco Transport Manager (CTM)
Cisco Transport Manager is an optical transport domain manager that delivers element and network management layer functionality for the Cisco ONS series of optical networking elements. CTM supports configuration, fault, performance, and security management functional areas. CTM also serves as a foundation for integration into a larger overall OSS environment.
CTM is an EMS that enables you to operate, administer, manage, and provision the entire range of ONS 15000 NEs. CTM provides the following features:
Integrated IP, SONET, SDH, and DWDM OAM&P in a single scalable platform
A Java-based GUI that provides similar screens on both Microsoft Windows and Sun Solaris client platforms
