Cisco Transport Controller (CTC)
Cisco Transport Controller (CTC) is a GUI-based element management tool that can be used for operations, administration, management, and provisioning (OAM&P) of various ONS 15000 MSPPs, such as the ONS 15327, ONS 15454, and ONS 15600. CTC is typically used as a GUI-based craft tool during the deployment and implementation of an ONS-based network. CTC accepts graphical user input and converts the commands to Transaction Language 1 (TL1) commands accepted by the ONS NEs.
CTC software is pre-installed on the TCC2 common control card of the ONS 15454. If the software release of the MSPP needs to be upgraded, a new version of CTC must be installed on the TCC2. The craft tool PC or workstation needs a standard Java-enabled ...
