5.6. Control of ATM Networks: The P-NNI Protocols

In ATM networks, Virtual Circuits (VCs) provide connectivity between two ATM end points. An ATM VC is a logical circuit with associated bandwidth, delay, and other service parameters. The P-NNI protocols, described next, provide the routing and signaling capabilities required for establishing and deleting VCs.
