The Object Data Management Group (ODMG) is a consortium of object-oriented database management system (ODBMS) vendors and interested parties working on standards to allow portability of customer software across ODBMS products. The ODMG home page is http://www.odmg.org/.
By supporting the same interface, members expect to accelerate significantly progress towards effective adoption of the standard. The objectives of the ODMG are:
