Who Troubleshoots NNM Itself?
Years of experience have convinced this writer that until users develop confidence in NNM they will tend to blame the tool for any difficulties they encounter. It is also the writer’s experience that most of the time NNM is working correctly. By looking under the hood you can usually explain the symptoms in terms of a real problem in the network. Occasionally, of course, there is an “errata” in NNM. (Readers familiar with the chip manufacturing industry will recognize this politically correct term.)
