Summary
In this chapter, we have basically looked at configuring and tuning databases. Some of the key tasks include defining configuration groups, defining configuration parameters, patching and updating the configuration, defining and uploading configuration parameters, and finally adding a new parameter.
In the next chapter, we shall look at the most common DBA task, which is backup management of the databases.
