A Review and Wrap-Up

We covered some interesting topics in this chapter: first we learned how to grab and move a mallet around with our fingers, and then we learned how to get the puck bouncing around the table. You might have noticed an overlapping problem along the way; we’ll learn how to take care of that in Removing Hidden Surfaces with the Depth Buffer.

Some of the math might have been above our heads, but the important part is to understand the concepts at a high level so that we know how to use them. There are many great libraries out there to make things easier, such as Bullet Physics and JBox2D.[46]
