A Review

We took the time to learn some of the basics behind linear algebra and used it to understand what happens when we multiply a matrix with a vector. We then learned how to define an orthographic projection matrix, which allows us to redefine our coordinate space, and we used this matrix to fix the distortion that we had whenever we rotated from portrait to landscape mode.

If any part of the matrix math appeared unclear, you might want to go back and review Linear Algebra 101; we’ll be spending more and more time with vectors and matrices from here to the end of the book!
