Embperl is a flexible and moderately simple way to implement embedded server-side web pages. It’s based on Perl and similar to mod_perl, so it builds on an excellent knowledge base. It is useful but not that much different from things you already know. However, there is more than one way to do it, as we saw with SSI, and there are a couple of other ways to do embedded HTML programming, so read on before you decide what to use in your system.
