You've decided on your goal and figured out how to craft the right sandbox covenants so that people know where they stand. Now it's time to pull it all together. This chapter is about how you orchestrate openness across the entire organization. Openness by definition means that there will be bridges built between traditionally isolated departments and silos—and some people may not be all that happy about this. People are comfortable in their well-defined positions; then, suddenly, openness changes the rules and requires that they work together in concert toward a common goal.
