Introduction
In the evolving open innovation technology market, savvy entrepreneurs are using an emerging model for developing new technologies that is particularly suited to small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Every entrepreneur knows something about using a start-up or spinout vehicle for realizing his or her dreams of technological and financial success. However, those dreams meet unexpected obstacles with very long business development timelines.
