About the Author

Henry Chesbrough teaches in the Management of Technology program at UC Berkeley, and is a well-known authority on innovation. His first book, Open Innovation (Harvard Business School Press, 2003), articulates a new paradigm for organizing and managing R&D. Open Innovation was named one of the best business books of 2003 on National Public Radio’s All Things Considered, and Scientific American named him one of its Top 50 Business and Technology leaders.
