Some Network Considerations
When mapping out your home network, consider the following questions as a starting point.
Where will I locate my modem or residential gateway that connects to the Internet?
How many PCs can I locate in the same room as that modem or residential gateway?
How many PCs do I want to locate in other rooms?
Are there any immobile objects to be dealt with?
Is there a phone jack in that room?
Will I want to move my notebook computers ...
