For your first site, create a personal Web site with typical information that people like to share: resumes, photos, and other information. A simple personal site will give you all the tools you need to get started building more complicated sites. There are numerous way to do this. Here are some of the basics. And note that today's blogging services (covered in Chapter 15) can also accomplish much of what we outline here.
