Email is an incredible telecommunications medium to let you exchange messages with others, from one computer to another. It's the most frequently used application on the Internet. According to International Data Corporation (IDC), 5.1 billion emails were sent every day in 2000 in the United States alone. The world daily tally was over 8.2 billion. IDC projects that by 2005, the number will be around 11.5 billion messages a day in the United States and over 26.1 billion worldwide. In the United States, there are 300 million email destinations.
