Spoofing is a hot topic on the Web. It is a common problem. Spoofing occurs when a user thinks he or she is going to a certain location, only to be tricked into going to another. You can also be fooled as to the contents of the file you are downloading and find you have downloaded a completely different thing. It's the bait and switch of the Internet—in essence, a con job.
